Overview

Kryxana (Ribociclib) tablet is used in the treatment of metastatic (cancer that has spread to other parts of the body) breast cancer. It belongs to a group of cancer-fighting medications known as antineoplastics. This tablet works by blocking the action of the kinase protein which is important for the growth and division of cells. Take Kryxana tablet as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Close monitoring of blood cell count is required during treatment with this medicine. The recommended dose of Kryxana tablets is decided by a doctor according to your previous medical condition and response to the treatment.

Pharmacodynamics

Ribociclib is an inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4 and 6. After the oral administration, the effect of this medicine can be observed in 2 to 4 hours.
