Kryxana (Ribociclib) tablet is used in the treatment of metastatic (cancer that has spread to other parts of the body) breast cancer. It belongs to a group of cancer-fighting medications known as antineoplastics. This tablet works by blocking the action of the kinase protein which is important for the growth and division of cells. Take Kryxana tablet as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Close monitoring of blood cell count is required during treatment with this medicine. The recommended dose of Kryxana tablets is decided by a doctor according to your previous medical condition and response to the treatment.


Ribociclib is an inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4 and 6. These kinases are activated upon binding to D-cyclins and play a crucial role in signaling pathways which lead to cell cycle progression and cellular proliferation. After the oral administration, the effect of this medicine can be observed in 2 to 4 hours.


Kryxana tablet is an anti-cancer medication that is used in the treatment of breast cancer. This medicine helps to stop the growth of cancer cells. Take this medicine with or without food orally once a day. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Do not take this medicine in the wrong way as it may lead to some severe side effects. It is advisable not to change your regular dosing schedule without taking suggestions from your doctor. If you experience any signs and symptoms while receiving this medicine, inform your doctor immediately. Avoid the consumption of pomegranate and grapefruit during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

  • Kryxana medicine may decrease white blood cells in some patients.
  • Close monitoring of liver function is required during treatment with this medicine.

  • Do not forget to disclose and discuss your previous history with your healthcare provider.
  • Kryxana tablets should be used with caution in patients who have prolonged QT intervals.
