Repatha 140ml injection is used to reduce the bad cholesterol level and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. Evolocumab removes the deposition of plaque in the blood vessel walls. Evolocumab belongs to the class of drugs known as monoclonal antibodies. Evolocumab works by stopping the production of LDL cholesterol to decrease the level of cholesterol which is responsible for blocking the blood flow of the heart, brain, and other parts of the body.
How To Use Repatha 140ml Injection
Repatha 140ml injection comes in liquid form (injection) and is usually given every two weeks or once a month. Before using, take it out from the refrigerator and warm it at room temperature. Do not warm the Repatha 140ml injection in any other way. If you using a prefilled syringe, keep it for at least 30 minutes at room temperature. If you using an on-body infusor, keep it for at least 45 minutes at room temperature to get warm. Do not shake this medicine and check for particles or discoloration, if either is present, do not use this medicine. Inject this injection under the skin of the upper arm, abdomen, or thigh, or as per the doctor’s perception.
