Pharmacodynamics

Bortrac 2 is a dipeptide boronic acid derivative which functions as a proteasome inhibitor. This medication inhibits the functioning of 26S proteasome which furthermore causes apoptosis in cancerous cells. In addition, it arrests the cell cycle in the middle. Bortrac 2 suppresses the NF – κB signaling pathway which is associated with anti-apoptotic genes. Thus Bortrac 2 suppresses the tumors progressively.
