Apretero (Aprepitant) capsule is used in the treatment of nausea or vomiting which patients experience as side effects caused due to chemotherapy or anti-cancer treatment. Aprepitant which is an antiemetic is a substance P/neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptor antagonist that when combined with other antiemetic agents, assists in preventing acute and delayed nausea and vomiting related to the beginning and repetitive treatment of most nauseant cancer chemotherapy. Aprepitant is a particular exorbitant associative antagonist of human substance P/neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptors.
