Fempro 2.5 mg tablet is a hormone therapy medicine that is used for the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Letrozole is the generic name of the medication and it is an aromatase inhibitor. Fempro 2.5 mg is a strictly prescription-based medication.
Pharmacodynamics
Fempro is a non-steroidal competitive aromatase inhibitor that blocks the enzyme CYP19A1. This consequently stops the synthesis of estrogen from androgens.
