Cronivir (Entecavir) is an antiviral drug used for the treatment of chronic (when the infection moves into the long-lasting stage) Hepatitis B virus. This medicine belongs to a class of drugs known as Hepatitis B virus nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Long-term Hepatitis B infection can cause liver damage. Pharmacodynamics
